Jo Hennessy is a leadership development expert with over 20 years’ experience designing and delivering leadership programmes that deliver lasting change for commercial businesses and public sector organisations.
An Occupational Psychologist, she started her career at SHL moving on to hold director-level roles at consultancies and business schools including Director of Research and International Development at Roffey Park Institute and Head of Executive Development at Penna.
Throughout her career she has published extensive research into leadership, employee engagement and organisational development. Her interest in vertical development stems from working with many hundreds of leaders and noticing the transitions they make in their thinking and general attitude to the world around them.
She is currently researching the development of problem-solving capabilities drawing on cognitive neuroscience, adult development theory and developmental psychology.
